Zion National Park was one of the first National Parks that I ever visited when I was about five years old. It has always been my favorite National Park right above Yosemite, Sequoia, Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National Parks. This page is dedicated to all my Zion adventures, photographs and the iPhone 4 that I lost in the Narrows.
My friend and I got a head start on our road trip to Zion the night before our camp site reservations. We stopped somewhere in the dark and woke up here the next day, somewhere north of Lake Powell.
Found this cool pull out for the night, we slept under the stars and woke up to the overcast sunsrise and the most beautiful scenery. Definetly one of the best ways to wake up, even if it is 5am 🙂
I love clouds
The main road is now closed for regular traffic. Take the bus, hike or bike!
The trail in the Zion Valley
We hiked to this vista point at the end of the first day in Zion. Great way to end the day. Wine is also a great way to end the day.
The lower Zion Narrows – ADA access trail
You must wade through the river stream up to your waist to reach this boulder. It truly is a beautiful swimming location.
The Canyon walls seem to grow
This is close to our end point in the Zion Narrows. The walls got so narrow and the water so high that I held my backback above my head as we hiked through the water.
Signs of life on our way back to the capground.
