On day one of MBA orientation at the University of San Diego we were assigned teams and given a case assignment. The competition among our cohort was to research, create, and pitch a Sustainability Communication Plan to Sempra Energy by the end of the week.
We were given very little guidance, and developed our ideas while learning to work with new teammates under a tight deadline. Ultimately, only a handful of teams advanced to final stage at Sempra Headquarters in Downtown San Diego. Our team won the final competition for coordinating a executive-level presentation with formalized ideas that management were already considering.
The materials on this page are a reflection of our work together. I independently created an ArcGIS StoryMaps mock-up but also developed cross-functional teamwork skills by collaborating on various aspects of the presentation such as employee communications and the final write up proofread.
